The Newfoundland Aboriginal Women's Network is offering a number of free workshops on violence prevention awareness to community groups and individuals. These workshops will range in topic from Domestic Violence, Bullying, Sexual Assault and more. All workshops are facilitated by trained, community leaders and are culturally based. Workshops can be a full or half day with all resources and nutrition breaks provided. The Cancer survivors support group of Stephenville will meet the first Wednesday of each month, September to May at St. Anne's Hall, West St. , from 7:30 - 8:30 pm. All cancer survivors, their familys and friends are welcome. For more information call 643-3425 or 643-3021.
